Is it the same as medical school? Is it less? Is it a weekend certification?
As a chiropractor, we are required to be primary care physicians, and that means that we need all the background medical knowledge to make sure that you’re in the right place in our office, and that I’m the right person to be taking care of you for what you’re experiencing.
In the medical world, they’re really well trained in medications. They know what medications you might need or not need.
There’s a big difference between the two when it comes to how we care for our patients, but when it comes to the background in education, the rigorous classes are just the same.
In fact, I’ve probably spent more hours in an anatomy lab than just about anyone you know.
My job as your chiropractor is to keep you away from needing those medical world tools like prescriptions and surgeries, and to make sure you’re taking the best possible care of your body so you can feel like you’re living your life as close to 100% as possible.
